Royston First is a plan to be unveiled at the end of May aimed at improving the retail and business offerings in Royston. See the article in The Crow for details and comment. In a separate move, there is talk of installing a lift at the Town Hall 8.05.08

As part of the Herts Visual Arts Forum Annual event, six Artists in and around Royston will be opening their studios to the public. There will be a selection of sculpture, textiles, prints, paintings, photography and computer graphics from local artists Mark Humphrey, Marian Murphy, Anne Struebel, Elaine Baigent, Steve Etheridge and Suzanne Crouchman.
