Royston Through the Eyes of a Child is a compilation of things children aged 4 to 9 like about Royston. "I like Royston because there's bicycle lanes. I like the Leisure Centre because I can swim there. I liked the Fair in Royston. It is very, very fun!" Alexander, age 6. Royston First is a plan to be unveiled at the end of May aimed at improving the retail and business offerings in Royston. See the article in The Crow for details and comment. In a separate move, there is talk of installing a lift at the Town Hall 8.05.08

The district council have published a draft Town Centre Strategy for Royston which will affect developments over the next 15 years. See the exhibition in the Library or on the NHDC web-site, and have your say before 22nd February. 12.12.07
Thank you for casting your votes for Royston in the People's £50 Million Lottery Giveaway! Sustrans/Connect2 won the competition, so £700k should be on its way to Royston for the Coombes Hole railway crossing project. 28.11.07
